Event Description Increase Productivity - Lower Costs - Grow Sales. If that headline captures your interest then plan to attend this workshop to learn if automation is right for your company. This complementary breakfast workshop will introduce you to how automation and using industrial robots can improve quality, maximize productivity and reduce costs. Industrial robots and automated systems are ideally suited for a wide range of applications in a broad range of industries including: aerospace, automotive, consumer goods, education, food, metal fabrication, medical and pharmaceuticals. Robots have payload capabilities ranging from ounces to more than 2,000 pounds and can include force sensing and vision systems to accomplish a wide range of tasks. Highlights of the workshops presentations are: 1) How to use robotics to remain competitive without off-shoring; 2) Offsetting advanced manufacturing job skills shortages; 3) Robotic systems training and certification. There will also be an optional tour and live demonstration at the College of the Canyons Robotic Welding Facility immediately thereafter. |
