Event Description Decisions can be difficult without the right information. These workshops are designed to provide you with critical information that will assist you in making informed choices. In addition, these workshops will provide useful forms and access to resources and assistance. The fifth workshop in the series will address specific strategies that can help the elderly person and his or her family to adjust when a change in lifestyle needs to take place. Whether living on your own and doing what it takes to maintain your independence or transitioning to a senior community, this workshop will present strategies for success. Topics include: Maintaining your independence, Living on your own, Home Modifications, Residential placement, Living in a senior community, Reducing stress during transitions and Residential care. |
